Mazda Motor Corporation generally referred to as just Mazda is a Japanese multinational carmaker based in Fuchū, Aki District, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
In 2015, Mazda offered 1.5 million cars for global sales, the bulk of which (nearly 1 million) were manufactured in the company's Japanese factories, with the rest coming from other plants worldwide. In 2015, Mazda was the fifteenth biggest carmaker by production globally.
