The Hyundai Elantra or Hyundai Avante is a compact automobile manufactured by the South Korean maker Hyundai since 1990. The Elantra was initially sold as the Lantra in Australia and some European markets. In Australia, this was due to the similarly called Mitsubishi Magna Elante model.

If you are hearing a knocking sound coming from the engine, then it will most likely be caused by faulty engine mounts. This will be most obvious when you are taking off (accelerating) and/or when you apply the brakes. These are clear signs of broken engine mounts.
The window switch is likely to fail in this car. If you are having problems with the windows not operating as they should, and they are very slow in going up and down, you have an issue with the regulator.
There are known issues with the air conditioning failing. There could be problems with the air conditioning not working on all of the settings, only working on certain ones, or the air conditioning not blowing out cold air on the cold settings. The blower motor would be the cause of the first fault and the compressor would be the cause of the cold air fault.
