Model overview
The Dodge Dart is a four-door compact sedan that was produced and sold by FCA US LLC, a division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The car was introduced in 2012 at theNorth American International Auto Show. In other non-US markets, the Dodge Dart is marketed as the Fiat Viaggio.
Reviving a nameplate utilized by Dodge for model years 1960-1976 for a series of mid-size, full-size, and compact models, the Dart was the maker's first compact sedan as 2005, when the Neon was abandoned.
The last Dodge Dart was available in six trim levels: SE, Turbo, Aero, SXT, GT, and Limited. Three powertrains were available for the Dodge Dart. The base SE model was powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivered 160 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. It comes paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic. The other engines were a 1.4-liter four-cylinder and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder.
