Model overview
The Chevrolet Blazer is a 5-doors mid-size SUV built by General Motors brand Chevrolet. The automobile went into making in 2018 and sales started in 2019 as a 2019 model. In China, it is a bigger, 7-seat SUV, which launched in 2019 and went on sale in 2020.
The Blazer nameplate, whose story began in 1969 when it debuted as a two-door SUV, was presented to the public in 2018 as a mid-size CUV that is positioned within the Equinox and Traverse. It will serve as a counterpart to the GMC Acadia in the midsize segment and will be produced on the same platform as the Acadia. The car's design will show a sporty-style look that gets its ideas from the Camaro but will have a CUV sense.
The Blazer is powered by a standard 2.5 L I4 engine delivering 193 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque. A 3.6 L V6 powertrain option will also be available, producing 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. All these powertrains will be paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
