The Tesla Model Y is a fully electric compact crossover utility vehicle (CUV) produced by Tesla, Inc. Tesla revealed it in 2019 and the production began in early 2020. It is the second automobile based on the Model 3 sedan platform. Model Y will be available with the optional third-row places for seven-passenger seating capacity.
The Model Y is currently available in two trim levels: Long Range and Performance, with Standard Range and Long Range with Dual-Motor, planned in the future. They all use an all-wheel drive. The Long Range jas 316 miles of range, and 0-60 mph acceleration of 4.8 seconds. The Performance trim has an Enhanced powertrain with an 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a range of 315 miles.
