Model overview

The Lexus NX is a compact luxury crossover SUV marketed by Lexus, the luxury division of Toyota. It was launched in 2014 as a new entry-level crossover in Lexus' lineup, positioned under the mid-size RX crossover. The name "NX" comes from "Nimble Crossover".

The NX was announced in 2014 at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The NX shares the structure and wheelbase with the Toyota RAV4 and the styling, interior, suspension parts, some engines, to the Lexus.

The Lexus NX is available with various engine options. In the US, it is available in NX 200t (renamed to NX 300 as 2018) and NX 300h trims. The NX300h trims are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a hybrid system producing a combined power of 194 horsepower. It is available exclusively with all-wheel drive.
