Model overview

The Infiniti QX60 previously named the Infiniti JX until 2013 is a seven-passenger luxury crossover SUV manufactured by the Infiniti division of Japanese maker, Nissan. It is based upon an elongated Nissan Murano platform.

In conjunction with Infiniti's naming scheme as 2014, the JX was renamed to "QX60." While the number before indicated engine displacement (i.e., 35=3.5L engine), the new number, 60, is mostly related to the place in the product lineup, a larger number usually corresponds to a more expensive car.

The Infiniti QX60 is available in two trims Pure and Luxe with front- or all-wheel drive. All models are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 295 horsepower and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The all-wheel-drive accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds while the front-wheel version reached 60 mph in 8.3 seconds.
