Model overview

The Alfa Romeo Tonale is a compact crossover SUV made by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo. Launched at the beginning of 2022, the Tonale is the first hybrid-powered vehicle. Is positioned below the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and is the first new model presented in six years.

A rebadged and restyled model was unveiled later in 2022 as the Dodge Hornet, available only to the North American market as a small entry-level SUV with emphasis performed. The Hornet will be marketed alongside the Tonale in the area with various specs and lower pricing.

Dodge Hornet will be available in two trims: GT or R/T PHEV, for the 2023 model. The GT models are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 265 horsepower and comes mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional, and Dodge claims 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. The R/T model is Dodge's first plug-in hybrid, and it's equipped with a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder and an electric motor that together integrate 285 horsepower.
