Model overview

The Toyota Grand Highlander is a new addition to the Toyota lineup released in the summer of 2023. It is a stretched version of the current Highlander SUV, offering more space for people and cargo. 

The Grand Highlander is available in three powertrain options (XLE, Limited, and Platinum), including a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and two hybrid options. The hybrids are only offered in upscale trims, with the entry-level XLE trim being recommended due to its well-equipped features. 

The interior of the Grand Highlander is roomier than the standard Highlander, featuring a symmetrical dashboard design and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with a wireless smartphone charging pad. All models of the Grand Highlander come with a suite of driver-assistance features. 

The pricing for the Grand Highlander starts at $43,070 for gas engine models, $44,670 for hybrids, and $54,040 for the Hybrid MAX.
