Model overview

The Fiat Doblò is a panel van and leisure activity vehicle (LAV) built by Italian maker Fiat as 2000. It was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2000.

The Ram ProMaster City (Type 636) is an Americanised variant of the Fiat Doblò launched in the model year of 2015, to replace the Dodge Caravan based C/V Tradesman. The ProMaster City is made in the same factory in Turkey as the Doblò and shipped to North America. To avoid the chicken tax, only passenger vans are introduced into North America, with cargo vans posting import conversions.

Unlike the Doblò, passenger variants of the ProMaster City use thick metal panels rather than glass in its rear sections, and third-row and the lift tailgate choices are not granted. The 2.4 liter Tigershark powertrain paired to the nine-speed automatic transmission is the single-engine available for the ProMaster City. Only the front-wheel drive is available.

It comes with the following trim levels: Tradesman, SLT, Wagon, and Wagon SLT. Like the bigger Ram ProMaster, the Ram ProMaster City got a facelift for the model year of 2019. The front "crosshair" grille was substituted with the 'RAM' logo.
