Model overview

The Nissan NV (Nissan Van) is the initial full-size van produced by the Japanese carmaker for North America and marketed by Nissan. Until the debut of the Nissan NV, Mexico was the exclusive country marketing a full-size Nissan Van, as the Nissan Urvan was marketed there. Upon the debut of the NV, it followed the Urvan for Mexico. 

The Nissan NV Cargo comes in three models (NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD) with rising levels of towing capabilities. Among these models are three trim levels: S, SV, and SL.

The 1500 model comes solely with a usual roof and a 4.0-liter V6 engine (261 horsepower, 281 lb-ft of torque) matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. The 2500 model comes by default with the same V6 engine, but with a high-roof configuration. Also available on the 2500 model is a 5.6-liter V8 engine (375 hp, 387 lb-ft) paired to a seven-speed transmission. The 3500 can have with either roof but comes solely with the V8 powertrain.
