Model overview
The Maserati Levante is a mid-size five-door SUV based on the Kubang concept vehicle that was presented in 2011 at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Designed and constructed at Maserati's Turin factory, the Levante went on sale in Europe and North America in 2016.
The Maserati Levante Trofeo was revealed in 2018 at the New York International Auto Show. The Trofeo is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine and all-wheel drive producing a total output of 590 hp 538 lb-ft of torque.
The Maserati Levante is available in four trim levels that are set by power output. The base Levante and the Levante S are equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 345 horsepower in base trim and 424 hp in S trim. The Levante GTS and the Levante Trofeo come with a more powerful turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine that produces 550 hp and 590 hp, respectively.
Regardless of the trim level, each model comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, which Maserati names it Q4.
