Model overview
The Lexus RC is a compact two-door coupé produced by Lexus, Toyota's luxury division. According to Lexus, the RC name comes from "Radical Coupe". It is a two-door coupé variant of the Lexus IS and named as the XC10 series. The Lexus RC was revealed in 2013 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The RC300 is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder producing 241 horsepower and it's paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the only available option. Lexus offers two models of its V-6 powertrain.
The all-wheel-drive RC300 is powered by a V-6 that produces 255 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic. On the other hand, the RC350 trim is powered by a 306-hp V-6 paired with an eight-speed automatic (RWD only) or the six-speed (AWD only). The later accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
