Model overview

The Infiniti Q70 and Q70L are a series of mid-size executive vehicles produced by Nissan luxury division Infiniti. It's basically a minor cosmetic improvement to the Infiniti M lineup. The new Q70 name is used to reflect Infiniti's updated nomenclature where all models begin with the letter 'Q'.

The Infiniti Q70 comes in two main trim levels: 3.7 Luxe and 5.6 Luxe. The numbers show what type of powertrain is under the hood. A long-wheelbase Q70L is available with either engine and comparable equipment. Rear-wheel drive is standard while the all-wheel drive is optional. A seven-speed automatic transmission is the only one available.

The base Q70 3.7 Luxe is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine delivering 330 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque while the 5.6 Luxe is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 producing 420 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.
