The Honda Prelude is a sports automobile that was built by Japanese maker Honda from 1978 till 2001. The two-door coupe was obtained from the Honda Accord and built across five generations. The Prelude was utilized by Honda to launch the Japanese Honda deal chain, Honda Verno, with the global release soon next.

Making of the Prelude ended in 2001 when it was replaced by the Honda Integra DC5. The Prelude nameplate was first trademarked by Toyota but was also supplied to Honda for use. The Prelude fitted well with the music-themed titles used by Honda at the moment, including the Accord, Jazz, Concerto, Quintet, and Ballade.
