Model overview

The Cadillac XT6 is a seven-seat luxury mid-size SUV produced by General Motors. The vehicle was launched in 2019 at the North American International Auto Show and went on sale in June 2019 as a 2020 model.

The XT6 (an acronym for Crossover Touring 6) is Cadillac’s third crossover SUV, and the biggest in the XT series, slotted within the XT5 and Escalade. The XT6 is assembled at GM's Spring Hill, Tennessee factory, while the Chinese XT6 variant is scheduled to be produced in Shanghai.

The XT6 is equipped with a 3.6L V6 LGX engine, producing 310 hp (231 kW) and paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission in AWD and FWD. A 2.0L I4 gasoline turbo powertrain will be available in the Chinese version, delivering 237 hp (177 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 N⋅m) torque.
