Model overview
The Mercedes-Benz CLE is a luxurious grand tourer that was introduced in 2023. It comes in two body styles, the coupe and the cabriolet, both of which replaced the C and E-Class coupes. The CLE offers impressive performance with the upcoming Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 and CLE 63 variants.
Under the hood, the CLE class comes with one of two powertrains. The first CLE300 trim is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, producing 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the CLE450 model is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six producing 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission is standard on both models. Additionally, both models are 48-volt hybrids, including an electric motor that can add up to 23 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Both are limited to a top speed of 130 mph.
