The Kia Sorento is a mid-size SUV made in 2002 by South Korean carmaker Kia.
Sorento hybrid models come to market in late 2020. The V6 engine is no longer an alternative. In 2021, Kia introduced the Sorento PHEV model powered with 261 hp from its 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder mated to an electric motor. The declared EV range is 51 km (32 miles) and has a mixed range of 740 km (460 miles).
The Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid Sorento models are available only T-Line trim, signifying both come fully equipped. The only minus is the 20-inch wheels of the non-hybrid models, with 19-inch wheels rather.
