Model overview

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a compact executive vehicle manufactured by the Italian car maker Alfa Romeo. It was revealed in 2015, with market launch programmed for 2016, and it is the original saloon car offered by Alfa Romeo after the making of the 159 stopped in 2011. The Giulia is also the original mass-market Alfa Romeo car to use a longitudinal rear-wheel-drive platform, as the 75 which was abandoned in 1992.

The new 2020 Giulia comes in three main trim levels: the base Giulia, the Ti, and the high-performance Quadrifoglio. The Giulia and Ti models are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (280 horsepower, 306 lb-ft) that sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is also possible for all 2.0-liter vehicles. The Quadrifoglio is powered by a turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine (505 hp, 443 lb-ft).
