Model overview

The Dodge Viper was a sports vehicle produced by Dodge (SRT for 2013 and 2014), and FCA US LLC from 1991 through 2017, skipping the 2007 and 2010–2013 models.

In 2014, the Viper was listed number 10 on the "Most American Cars" list, indicating that over 75% or more of its parts are produced in the U.S.

Some limited editions are also available for the 2017 model, including the Viper GTS-R, Viper Snakeskin Edition, and Viper VooDoo II Edition. Each has a particular shift of features and/or special paint, interior and exterior trim features.

The Dodge Viper is equipped with an 8.4-liter V10 engine producing 645 hp and 600 pound-feet of torque paired through a six-speed manual, which is the only available transmission. The Viper GT accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
