Model overview

The Chevrolet Silverado EV is a battery electric pickup truck to be fabricated by GM under the Chevrolet brand. Launched at the beginning of 2022, the Silverado EV will go on sale in 2023 for the 2024 model year for the North American market.

Despite the Silverado nameplate, the car is not using the same Silverado platform, as it is using a narrower variant of the platform used by the GMC Hummer EV. It is the first electric pickup truck after its launch by the Chevrolet brand.

Two trim levels are available, the fleet-oriented WT (work truck) and the flagship RST First Edition, while other trim levels may be released in the future. The WT has a power output of 510 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque, while the RST offers a power output of 664 hp and 780 lb-ft.
