Overview:Cadillac, formally the Cadillac Motor Car Division, is a division of the U.S.-based General Motors (GM) that sells luxury cars worldwide. Its main markets are the United States, Canada, and China, but Cadillac-branded automobiles are spread in 34 additional markets worldwide.
The Cadillac DeVille was a trim level and later a separate model manufactured by Cadillac. The original car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body style with a renown trim level beyond that of the Series 62 luxury coupe.
