Overview:Buick, previously the Buick Motor Division, is an upscale vehicle brand of the American producer General Motors (GM). For much of its existence in the North American market, Buick has been sold as a premium vehicle brand, marketing luxury vehicles positioned over GM's mainstream brands, e.g. Chevrolet, while under the flagship luxury Cadillac division.
Buick Century is the model title used by Buick for a range of upscale performance vehicles from 1936 to 1942 and 1954 to 1958, and from 1973 to 2005 for a mid-size vehicle. The model name Century came about when Buick was creating its first production vehicle able to reach a speed of 100 mph (161 km/h).
