The Toyota Camry is a vehicle marketed globally by the Japanese carmaker Toyota as 1982, across multiple generations. First compact in size, later Camry versions have started to fit the mid-size class although the two models co-existed in the 1990s.

The XV40 Camry debuted in 2006 at the North American International Auto Show alongside a hybrid variant and went on sale the same year for the 2007 model year.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid comes in three trim levels: the base LE, the sportier SE, and the loaded XLE. All Camry Hybrids generate 208 horsepower through the gasoline/electric powertrain and are front-wheel-drive. Available transmissions include continuously variable-speed automatic, five-speed manual or five-speed automatic, depending on the year model.
