Model overview

The Saturn Outlook is a large crossover SUV that was launched in 2006 at the New York International Auto Show as a 2007 model year. It was based on the GM Lambda platform, which is also used by Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia. 

The Outlook highlighted the lowest price tag among GM's Lambda crossover SUVs, positioned under the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. The Chevrolet Traverse would eventually take the place of the Outlook following the debut of the Traverse for the 2009 model year, and the passing of the Outlook. The Saturn Outlook was abandoned after the 2010 model year.

The Saturn Outlook comes in there are two trims: XE and XR. The standard Outlook XE is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 270 hp and 248 pound-feet of torque. The XR model increases the amount slightly to 275 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through a standard six-speed automatic transmission, in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
