Hummer H3 specs

Model overview

The Hummer H3 is an off-road SUV that was built from 2005 through 2010 by General Motors. The smallest version of the Hummer range, it was available either as a 5-door SUV or a 4-door pickup truck, also known as the H3T.

Unlike the bigger H1 and H2 version, the H3 was not produced by AM General. It debuted for the 2006 model year, based on a changed GMT355 platform shared with the Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon compact pickup trucks. While mechanically linked to the Colorado and Canyon, GM insists they share only 10% of their parts, with the chassis revised and strengthened for heavy off-road tasks.

The HUMMER H3 models were powered either by a 3.7 L-liter gas engine or a 5.3 L-liter flex-fuel (FFV) engine, with a total output of up to 300 hp, depending on the engine type. They come with four-wheel drive and the available transmissions include 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual.
