Model overview

The Cadillac STS is a mid-sized luxury sedan made and marketed by GM from 2004 through 2011 for the 2005 through 2011 model years. A variant of the STS was marketed in China as the SLS through 2013. 

The STS was the replacement to the Cadillac Seville, which starting from 1987 was available as a sedan touring version, and a comfort-oriented luxury sedan variant. While shorter than the DTS, the STS was the flagship sedan of the Cadillac make.

The STS comes with two powertrain options to choose from: a 3.6-liter V6  engine (255 hp and 252 pound-feet of torque) and a 4.6-liter V8 engine (320 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque). The V6 comes matched with a five-speed automatic transmission, while the V8 is mated to a six-speed automatic.
